Yeah basically 0-50g of carbs max. Then lots of protein and fats. Have to understand that there are many different types of fats. The types in McDonalds and processed foods is saturated and transaturated fats. Our body doesn't need that. The fats that are good for you that are in foods like nuts and avocados are mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated fats. That's the ones that are needed in keto diet :)

^Should have thrown everything out and ate just the burger patties.
Isn't the Atkin's diet based on keto? I think you can only be in ketosis for max of 2 weeks at a time...doesn't seem really sustainable in the long term..
Atkins is similar to keto but it's done in stages I think. You first remove all carbs and then re-introduce them slowly IIRC
It's really not that hard to quantify..., but I believe that being raped once is not as bad as being raped five times, even if the one rape was by a gang of people.

regarding the keto diet:

"Along with the Atkins diet and the South Beach diet, individuals who are interested in low carbohydrate approaches to dieting will likely want to look into the Keto Diet. Popular among many who are trying to maintain blood sugar levels and lose body fat, the main premise of this diet is, 'eat fat to lose fat'.

The idea of the ketone diet is to get your body into a process called Ketosis where you stop burning carbohydrates as fuel and instead turn to the burning of what are known as ketones. This will occur when you bring your carbohydrate levels to around 50 grams per day or lower.
A CKD (cyclic keto diet) on the other hand is a diet where you will eat a minimum amount of carbohydrates per day (that 30-50 gram number) and then on the weekend (or at a time that is appropriate for you) do a large 'carb-up' phase where you will eat a large amount of carbohydrates in an effort to refill your muscle glycogen stores so you can continue to workout the coming week.

Normally right before the carb-up phase you will do a depletion workout where you try and get your muscles to completely eliminate their glycogen supply. Then when you do the 'carb-up' phase, you cut almost all the fat out of the diet so you are now just consuming protein and carbohydrates.  "

You can't find out unless you try:p
ill start a log for my keto diet, lets see how long it lasts & results!

Ok this is going to sound weird and somewhat out of context in relation to some of the other posts on here......but anyways my question is would anyone have any advice as to how to gain about ten kilos in roughly two months time? Oh and my current diet is mainly composed of rice.

Hit the gym, get your carbs up big time, try some supps if you want (e.g. musashi bulk, ON serious mass, internation protein mass gain etc) .
you have to get your D.I of calories up pretty much..

A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite.

Yes, it would help, if you were trying to avoid carbs at times, perhaps try carb cycling?

to re-energise and flourish your consistent regime be sure to have a cheat meal once a week

Depends on your diet.

If you're going mid fat and low carbs, it folllows that you should avoid carbs and SOME fatty foods are alright. If mid carbs, low fat, you can be freer with your carb consumption.

Keto can be a bit overrated though

Avoid trans fats at all costs, try and avoid saturated as much as possible.
