I'm a bit luckier I guess. Our school doesn't start Y11 exams until Nov 5th. I've got English and Methods back to back on Tuesday the 6th, followed Media the next day, Accounting on the Friday, and Economics the following Monday. Then my 3&4 Global Politics exam on the 20th.

I'm luckier still - my Unit 2 exams don't start until the 14th of November! :P That being said, my Unit 3/4 exams are this Friday and Monday... I'm so scared. :x

Stick ~ have confidence in yourself, believe in yourself. You've worked so hard to get to where you are today and just think to yourself, "I'm going to own that paper", because you are! I'm saying that, and I don't even know you! If someone anonymous has this much faith in you, don't you think you should have faith in yourself?

Talk to your parents, teachers or other friends, but please don't say you're scared all the time because it makes people like me feel ten times as worse, knowing that we've probably put in about half as much the work as you have and therefore we should be feeling ten times as scared.  :-[

Honestly Stick - it's a piece of paper with writing on it! I know it contributes to your ATAR, but heaps of other people are in the same boat and we're all "scared", but we don't go about posting "help me I'm anxious" on virtually every single thing we say on ATAR notes!!

I think if it helps Stick vent out his nerves, concerns etc. then maybe we should let him..

Of course, that's fair enough :)

At the end of the day, it's a stressful time of year for everyone and I guess people cope with their stress in different ways :)

There's no point bottling up your feelings, Starfish - it only causes bigger problems in the long run. I feel I can trust you guys enough to be able to support me, hence why I tend to unload a lot. You guys should try it, because telling others what's on your mind is really relieving. :)

Today is a glorious day - no more Physics for me in VCE! Finished my 1 & 2 exam today (was really easy :O). Glad it's over though.

Again, stop ass-kissing pi, he'll probably give you brownie points for hating VCE Physics, but you're just making yourself look like a sheep!

Hey, I hated VCE Physics (and I'm fairly sure I said it in this thread too) after the very first week I started learning it! xD I don't intend to sound like I'm ass-kissing pi and I don't think that I'm necessarily being a sheep - I just happen to emphatically agree with him. Haha. :P

What exactly do you hate about VCE Physics?

You might not be a sheep, I'll agree, but there are many people who simply hate VCE Physics (or at least voice their hate for VCE Physics) just because other people do it and it looks OK to do so.

I'm sure that you hate other subjects too.

If you end up doing any physics at uni later on you'll start to loooove VCE physics. VCE physics is simple, uni physics is mindf**k.

EDIT: Also inb4 "I won't be doing physics at uni" :P

Well originally I didn't realise so many other people hated it as well - to be honest I thought it was my teacher who was ruining things for me. :P I originally chose Physics at the end of Year 10 because it helped to keep options open, so I didn't really know what I was getting myself into (just like I didn't with other subjects -.-). Ultimately, it's the content which I don't really like; I guess electricity, forces and light aren't topics which really interest me. I know a lot of people get bothered by the maths (or lack of it) but that didn't really phase me that much. :/

Well to be honest, doing Physics won't open up any options for you if you're doing Chemistry as well, there are no university courses, that I know of, which requires VCE Physics as an absolute pre-requisite.

My opinion is, if you choose a subject, you can't go around saying you hate it, it's really your own fault you chose it and didn't research the topics you were going to cover. To be honest though, what did you expect in a VCE level Physics course then, if electricity, kinematics, dynamics and light aren't what interest you - did you expect to do like quantum mechanics or particle physics...like seriously?

As far as I know physics is a pre-requisite for radiography at Monash ^
