60 minutes is good because under adrenaline and time pressure you'll be more likely to write faster, so as long as you have a few minutes to proof read you should be fine
What I was going to do was quickly look at the topics and prompt from the other 2 sections as soon as reading time starts, then read the article for the first time and absorb it, then if the article isn't too ridiculous, go back and decide on a topic and plan in my head for that topic and the prompt, and then spend the rest of the time going through the article again (or vice versa)
Then as soon as reading time's over I'll quickly jot down my ideas/refs for the other 2 sections and get straight into language analysis. I'm definitely starting with my language analysis first, because I think it's kind of pointless not to if you've just spent reading time looking through the piece.
Usually language analysis takes me a little longer than the other 2, but I guess it differs for everyone. As long as I can finish all 3 essays in time and have at least 5 minutes (~10 would be ideal) minimum at the end to skim-proofread, then I'll be fine. Hopefully that'll be the case!
Yeah I hope so

I had around 20 minutes left in the practice exam we did at school! I flew through the language analysis and then rest I spent around 50-60 minutes.
Ahh that's a pretty good idea!! I personally cannot do any planning in my head. I'd rather just spend all the time I can doing things that do not require a pen, and that's reading, and then do any planning afterwards! It's been working for me so I think I'll stick to it, I think any change right now will just unsettle us! Yeah, I can't think of any negatives with starting on Language Analysis, unless you're completely stuck on it, in which case I'd leave it till last.
As far as I know I'm the only one whose strength is actually Language analysis hahahaha! Yeah, I'd ideally want around 5-10 minute's at the end to do some proof reading. I ALWAYS have a habit of missing random "a" "the" because I think faster than I write!
As you said, the adrenaline will help you out in terms of speed!
