Hey guys,

I'm most likely going to sign up to MedEntry some time soon. Though, I'm curious about something...

What do they cover in their workshops? Would it be better to take the workshops early in the year or in June/July?

+1

I would also like to know whether it is better to do the workshops early in the year or closer to the UMAT.

it doesn't matter when you do the workshop. if you did the earlier ones (end of jan) you have more time to dwell over what was said, hence can start proper revision sooner, which is an advantage although you may actually forget alot of what was said and then by the time you start prac exams a few months later - you would have forgotten most of the hints.. even though you can always read their guides you get online again and again so its glued to your brain.

its all up to you guys, i want to do it sooner rather then later, so that it doesn't interfere with school if i did it on a weekend. and also so if i decide to do some practice stuff randomly when i bored - i can do so with memory of the tips they give me so i feel im not wasting:)

I just booked.  :)

Already have access to the study materials.  Someone please tell me that you get hard copies and it is not all online.

^^^

yeah kinda does.  it only lets you do them once, then you will have full access to the questions and solutions.

also, does anyone know whether you do the umat on a PC or is it on paper?

I think med entry was really good and if you do choose to do it like make sure u apply and get the online thing early.. START UMAT NOW !!! and not 3 weeks before UMAT because unless you are natural talent at it then you probably wont score that highly. The workshop wasn't anything special at all.. I don't think i learnt anything that i didn't already know.. Medentry is obviously only good for their online questions :)

I've done a couple of the eureka questions.  it is basically unlimited online questions for section 2 3 of the umat.
so far I am 2 from 2.  (Y)

So far I have to agree, this looks like money well spent.  :)
there is loads of drills, practice papers, study guides and the two day workshop as well.

there are lots of resources floating around here, but you can book now for whatever workshop you want, and if you pay by credit card, you have access to all the medentry resources right away.
